The crew behind the concrete
Universal Foundation Concrete pours driveways, patios, slabs and foundations across Wilson, NC and the counties around it. The person who quotes your job is the one standing on it.

A concrete company built on the parts nobody sees
Universal Foundation Concrete is a Wilson, NC concrete contractor working residential driveways, patios, walkways and slabs alongside commercial pads, footings, floors and parking lots. Small jobs and large ones get the same walkthrough and the same written price.
Most of the failed concrete we tear out was not poured badly on the surface. It was poured on ground that was never excavated or compacted, with steel that was too light or lying flat on the dirt, and joints improvised on pour day. All of that is invisible once the finish goes on, which is exactly why it gets skipped.
So that is where we spend our time. We check how water leaves the property, how deep the soft ground goes, and where the slab needs to move before we ever talk about a broom or a stamp. It is a slower way to price a job and a much slower way to fail.
Four things we do not compromise on
The owner is on the job
The person who walks your property and writes the price is on site while the concrete is placed and finished. Nothing is handed off to a crew you never met.
Base before finish
A slab is only as good as what is under it. Grade, drainage and a compacted stone base get checked and priced before anyone talks about a finish.
Everything in writing
Thickness, reinforcement, finish, joint plan and cure times on one page. If something changes, you hear it from us before it happens, not after.
We leave it clean
Excavated dirt hauled off, forms pulled, site swept the day we finish. You should not be cleaning up after a contractor.
What you will hear from us that you may not want to
Concrete is permanent and expensive. The only way that works out for both of us is if you get told the truth before the truck shows up.
- We will tell you when a repair is the better buy than a replacement
- We will tell you when new concrete will not match the old, before we pour it
- We do not quote concrete over the phone, because the base decides the price
- We do not take a job we cannot schedule honestly

License and insurance certificates are available on request before any concrete is ordered or any ground is broken. Ask for them. A contractor who hesitates is telling you something.
